I finally made the time to watch this the other day and it’s stayed with me since. I thought it was really great to hear everyone talking about Alexandra’s imagination. I think that aspect can be overlooked at times, but it (imagination) is so fundamentally important.
I also thought Patrick’s point about “Nitoa” was interesting, that he didn’t feel the need to walk around it and keep taking it in from every angle, but was happy to just accept it as it came, and to stay with a single viewing point for a long period of time. Limited though I may be to the video and photos, I found Alexandra’s work truly inspiring, because it made me want to make sculpture. Well done!
